Our Mr. Matsura, a film documentary by Beth Harrington Productions.
People have been embracing the tour of the documentary about the beloved community-building immigrant photographer, Frank S. Matsura. The documentary contains images from Okanogan County Historical Society’s collection of Matsura photographs and research done by OCHS volunteer researcher, Barry George.

Ø Hindsight Film Festival in Savannah, GA. This festival is presented by The Better Angels Society, a foundation established by famed filmmaker Ken Burns to promote historical documentary.
Ø Spokane International Film Festival in Spokane, WA. The film won three top awards in Spokane (aka SpIFFys!): Best of the Northwest Feature Film, Best Feature Documentary and (in a tie) the Audience Award for Best Documentary!

It needs to be edited to broadcast length, new credits made and the film close captioned, as well as hiring a publicist to get the word out. All of which takes money.
